Denim Design Day 4
Denim Wall Pockets
Wanna make one?
You will need
- Jeans with cargo pockets
- 7 pockets from various jeans
- jeans thread
Here is the cargo jeans I started with. I cut the legs off at the crotch.
Cut the inside seam. on each leg.
Put right sides together and sew.
Here's what it will look like.
Pin your pockets on.
Sew following the stitching line.
To hem the sides fold over 1/4 inch and then fold over again 1/2".
For the top fold over 1/2". Then add 4 tabs spaced evenly apart.
My tabs are a waistband from jeans.
Hang it up and fill your pockets.
This is going to be perfect for Dakota to put his small toys in.
