Cascading Ruffles Sew-A-Long Day 2

We made our pattern, so now we are going to use that pattern to cut out the fabric.

 Open your fabric up so it is flat. Now take each side (selvage) and fold it into the middle.

Now you are going to pin the back pattern piece on one of the folds and the front center piece on the other fold. Place the front side piece next to the back pattern piece.  Place the sleeve piece next to the center front piece.

Cut out the pieces. You should have 1 back piece, i center front piece, 2 front side pieces, and 2 sleeves.

 

Now we are going to cut out the ruffles.

 You will have a total of 5 rectangles.

5 1/4" x 6"

5 1/4" x 8"

5 1/4" x 10"

5 1/4" x 12"

5 1/4" x 14"
