Thoughts of You.....

This was supposed to post on Tuesday, but I messed up on the scheduling and so here it is today.
Really though we don't have to have a special day to celebrate loving people. We can show them any day, right?
I was trying to come up with gifts for Dakota's teachers on Valentine's Day.
Something that wasn't candy. I know when I worked in day care I always loved when I received something useful. So I brainstormed on useful gifts for teachers and  finally decided on microwavable rice bags.  His teacher is pregnant, so I knew this would come in handy over the next couple months with all the pains you tend to have during pregnancy.

 Then I added a tag
. The front said: Thoughts of you warm my HEART,
The back of the tag had the directions:
Heat in the microwave for 30-60 seconds and apply the sore muscles.
Can also be placed in the freezer and used as a cold compress.

Dakota's teacher sent a note home thanking us. She also wrote that it was such a thoughtful gift and would get A LOT of use over the next few months.

It's always nice to know that a handmade gift is appreciated by the recipient :o)

  1. My daughter made these in rectangle shapes for Christmas one year. Each person in our family got one. They have been used over and over. I love that you made it into a heart. Very cute.

Very cute! What a great idea. I crocheted some heart necklaces for my younger two kiddo's teachers. These are much more usable!
