The Doctor Is In

 We were at an appointment last week and when you walk in the door they had hand sanitizer and disposable doctors mask. Of course the kids wated to wear a doctor mask! Dakota had his ripped in just a minute or two.  He asked  me if I would make him a pirate doctors mask when we got home. 

Here's what I came up with.

Supplies Needed:

  Scrap fabric
• 
  
  Bias tape
• 
  
  Elastic
• 
  
  Scissors
• 
  
  Thread

 Cut your fabric 6"x7 1/2"

To make pleats  measure 2" from the bottom and mark. Measure and mark 1/2" above that.

 Next measure and mark 1". Do that all the way to the top of the fabric.

Fold on lines. Pin and iron pleats down.

Pin bias tape to short edges and sew.

Pis tape to lnog sides and tuck elastic in.  Sew.  I zig zag over the elastic to make sure it stays put.
