Yesterday we prepared our fabric, cut out the pieces, and ironed on the fusible interfacing and fusible fleece.
Today we are ready to start sewing!
Grab the top outer pieces. Fold them in half right sides together matching notches at the heel. Pin.
Sew using a 3/8" seam.
Iron the seam open.
Stitch each seam allowance 1/8" from the seam.
***This will keep the fabric from bunching together and rubbing on your heel***
Here is what it will look like.
Repeat with the top lining pieces.
See you tomorrow to make the strap and finish the top!
