Slipper Sew Along { Day 3 }

I am so glad you decided to join me this week for the Slipper Sew Along.

Wanna get in on it? It's not the late!

Today we are going to make the strap and finish the top.

Grab your strap pieces. Fold them in half right sides together as pictured.

 

Sew leaving one short end open for turning.

Clip corners.

Turn right side out and press.

Topstitch 1/8" from the edge.

*This is not in the pattern but it gives it a nice finished look*

Pin strap to the top piece matching dots.

Stitch.

Lay the lining on top of the outer top piece with right sides together.

Make sure to match notches and the back seams.

Sew the inside.

Turn right sides out and press.

Top stitch 1/8" from the inner edge.

*Not in the pattern instructions, but it gives it a nice finished look*

Baste the outer raw edge.
